‘Sea Wedding* and Water Stunts Please Audience; R. F. Carr SpeaksA large crowd viewed the Miami Municipal swimming pool’s last event of the seaosn, a water pageant entitled “Sea Wedding,” Friday night. Many said it was the “best pageant ever presented” at the pool.Ralph F. Carr, national RedCross representative, gave a short talk on life-saving. Previously he renewed life-saving certificates for Lloyd Dryer, Miss Beulah Poe, Cornell Stokes and Curtis Farley and approved the application of Capshaw Wolf.The pageant, written and directed by Miss Poe, featured Frances Harvey, as the bride; Delbert Wolf, the groom; Farley, Father Neptune, and Quentin Poe, the frog.Stokes, district diving champion, gave an exhibition of fancy and clown diving.Bill Enix’ Oklahoma band played a concert prior to the pageant.
