Brown, pastor of the Methodist church, is suffering from an attack of larnygitis.Miiss Jean Hoar, of Lindsay is the guest of Miss Beatrice Lillicrop and Miss Emma; Green, Miss Frankie Staback.Messrs. Leo. Burton and Rcub. Thomas motored to Uxbridge on Monday.Mr. Neil Smith, of Toronto, is spending the week at his sister’s, Mrs. G. Lease. *Miss Lizzie Middleton, of Toronto is spending the week with Miss Zcl-la Prouse.Misses Donna and Marjory Campbell, Toronto, are spending their holidays with their grandfather, Mr. Donald Campbell.Mrs. John Owens and son Fred are visiting at Cambray this week.Mrs. White of Toronto, is the guest of her father. Mr. Jas. Van-stone.Mr. and Mrs. Taylor, Montreal, .ire spending a. few weeks at her mother’s, Mrs. McDuffy’s.Mr. Jas. Vanstone spent the weekend in Toronto.Miss Gladys Moore, Lindsay who has visited friends ^ .town for the past week, returned home on Sunday.Mr. Elmer Dure and Miss Annie South visited in Cambray on Sunday. 'The picnic under the auspices ol the Methodist church Rpworth League on Wednesday, was 'well attended and enjoyed by all.Mr. Cecil Smith, who has been visiting in Edmonton, Alta., for some time, returned home on Wednesday.Messrs. Dobson and McKenzie, of Beaverton, paid a flying visit to our burg on Thursday.Messrs. Kelly *Stalack and Ed. Lillicrop were in Ralsover on Sunday.Our baseball team with a number of citizens, attended the tournament at Manilla ,on Wednesday.We are pleased to learn that Mr. Norris Green, who has been ill, is improving.Mr. and Mrs. J. II. McEachern spent Sunday at Linden Valley.The junior baseball team from Can-nington played our juniors here on Wednesday, the visiting team winning ihe game.0Mr. S. V.'. Keown has moved into his new house and two Mr. Morrow is building will add to the appearance oT the village.Mrs. D. Carmichael has improved her property by erecting a new verandah.Mr. G. A. Prouse is in Gamehridgc this week.Miss A. Staback who has visited in Balsover tor the past few weeks returned home on Sunday.Mr. A If. Burton, of Argyle, was in town on Monday.Mr. Madge of Toronto, was in 'own on Tuesday.A number of our citizens and town band attended the excursion to Orillia 011 Saturday.Mr. Williamson of Toronto was in town on Monday.Mr. Thos. Morrow is at Rama on business.
