The Jack Gardner” dances hav£ become famous among the young people of Houston* Dallas, Vaco and other Texas cities and because the young people of this city had heard so much about them from Miss Laura Virginia Adams, Mis* Anoe Rose Scott, Miss Alice Kirkland; Wright Riley, Parrick Dwyer and others who have attended them while visiting in those cities, they decided to have one of their very own. So Wright Riley, Patrick Dwyer, Will Rob origgs and Burns Waggencr rook the responsibility of arranging for it . The ballroom rand tapestry room of the St. Anthony were ablaze' with nght and abloom with flowers and the “Jack Gardner' jazz orchestra of -Uaiias played a program of new and catchy numbers for the dancers. There ^•ere ten dances, and two extras—each a new one, which had never been heara here before.
