t lt;Backward Party” at UniqueAt a party given last evening by Hattie Simmons and Ir-is Crouch at the home of the latter . everything was done backward. There were about thirty girls present all of whom gathered on the corner by the Park Hotel at eight p. m. and backed down to the Unique Theatre,%backing into the show. After the show the girls immediately repaired to the home of Irs Crouch where athree course supper was awating~ ■ ' ► • . *,them which was also served back-ward. The toothpicks were served first, then the cake and ice cream,* «and last the sandwiches and pickles. After the supper, music and games were played until after. 12 o’clock.* ■The games beinfc played backward, Every one. expressed themselves as having had .a* delightful time and voted the “Backward Party** a novel and enjoyablo affair.
