Throe Now Members Welcomed Into Service Club At TuesdayNight MeetingThe second night of play in theBoone Lions club horseshoe tournament for the 1937 team championship saw much exciting competition as the balance of the first round, the second round and the semi-finals were played. At times the rooting of contestants and j spectators was so loud and spirited that the contests reminded one of a baseball game.Most of the first round contests were played August 3. The balance of the first round played Tuesday night resulted as follows: Russell Johnson and Bert Miller won from Wesley Good and BertHolst, 21 to 12.John Erickson and Vern Johnson lost, to Francis Powers and Ralph Wilson by a 21 to 13 count.Second Round The second round results were as follows:Rudy Thorson and Lloyd Wilson were defeated 21 to 15 by A1 Doran i and L. S- Odell.Marlowe Williams and Phil Carlson dropped a close game to L. L. Hoffman and Cliff Nystrom, 21-18.Paul Stark and Kenneth Valentine took Roy Nelson and Paul Seifert into camp, 21 to 12.Ralph Wilson and Francis Powers downed Russell Johnson and Bert Miller bv a 21 to 16 score.In the semi-finals the scores were as follows:A1 Doran and L. S.
