Musqiiakie Indians Stage “PowWow** In spite of last year’s resolution to abandon their annua] “pow-wow” hi favor of an agricultural exhibition and “fair” more in keeping with the times and their position as citizens of a great farm state, the Musquakie Indians yielded to tradition again this year.Just as before, the dancing and •singing has been going on for four days, ending- yesterday in the squared circle prepared for it and surrounded by plank seats for visitors.T!£ Snake dance, the Eagle 'dance, the Buffalo dance, all were interpreted by leading men of the tribe, followed in more subdued vein by thesquaws and babies, all in Indian costume.To the “pow-wow” was added, however, an exhibition of farm products, head work and other native industries. Ciowds from all sections of the state motored to Tama to witness the performance.
