Playing With Sousa's BandMr. and Mrs. Ralph Hartwig of Cedar Rapida and Mrs. Ralph Fisher of Eagle Grove have been visiting at the home of Mrs. Belle Baker and with other relatives here and in Hudson and renewing the acquaintance of aid friends the pant week. This 3s the first visit Ralph has made here since he left in 1014 to work in Lake View, ! Iowa. When this country entered the j World War he was one of the first to j volunteer from Lake View. He was a member of a band in the Rainbow Di-■ vision and spent 20 months overseas.| After the Armistice was signed he re-i turned to Cedar Rapids where he has j since made his home: He joined the Orpheum circuit there and has since played in most of the larger cities in this part of the country. This summerhe played with Sousa's Band in Chi-the 1 argey cities in the' east. He departed from here for Des Moines to play with Sousa's Band at the State Fair.
