The Kilties arrived in Racine from Pennsylvania at about 9:15p.m. Saturday, escorted by enthusiastic supporters including the girls in the Tartan plaid car, the mayor anda police and sheriff’s escort all the way from Interstate 94 to the VFW clubhouse on Main St. The welcomecouldn’t help perking up a bunch of victorious, but tired, Kilties, who have participated in 1 0 contests andexhibitions since leaving 10 days ago for the national contest in Philadelphia.
