Shedd Reunion*Forty-five members of the Shedd family gathered at the J. fc Shedd home, Sunday, August 22, for their 48th annual reunion, coming from Rockford, 111.* Grand Rapids, Sandusky Al-bipn Big Rapids, Battle Creek'' Eaton Rapids, Plymouth and Telroiisha. At 1 00 o’clock the usual plantiful pot-lupkv dinner was served at a long table, on the lawn. Following the dinner the president, j. L. Shedd called the meeting to order and the folio ving officers were elected for next year: Bert Shedd, president; Bert A. Shedd,.vice president; Grace Shedd, secretary and treasurer. Remarks were made by some of the guests, and the invitation of Mr, and Mrs Bert Shedd to have the 1949 reunion with them was accepted.In the late afternoon ice cream and cake were served. The unusually large number from) away made the socially spent day very enjoyable.
