RED QUARRY.(GLOOMY GUS.)Sunday sehool at Red Quarry was well attended Sunday. The attendance was 62.Aunt Jane Kearby and daughter, of Nebraska, are visiting relatives in this vicinity.A crowd of young people from Hannon Town attended the Sunday school at Red Quarry Sunday.Misses Laura and Ruth Carnes were calling on a lady friend at Harmon Town Sunday evening.Asa Moore and Harmon Compton went to the ice cream supper at As. Jones’, in Martin county, Saturday night.Everett Compton is working for Purkhiser, building arches for Win-ick, who is building a gravel road near Moore’s Ridge.The friends and relatives of Tom Moore gave him a surprise dinner Sunday in honor of his 59th birthday. There were 107 persons present.There will be a dance at Tom Qualkenbush’s, in Martin county, Friday night* and one at Bill Madison’s, near Highland Chapel, Saturday night.James Case has completed the road which was being built from near Hawkins Kearby’s to the Martin county line, and is moving his crusher east of French Lick, where hewill hnilrl flnnthpr
