Jones’, in Martin county, Saturday night.Everett Compton is working for Purkhiser, building arches for Win-ick, who is building a gravel road near Moore’s Ridge.The friends and relatives of Tom Moore gave him a surprise dinner Sunday in honor of his 59th birthday. There were 107 persons present.There will be a dance at Tom Qualkenbush’s, in Martin county, Friday night* and one at Bill Madison’s, near Highland Chapel, Saturday night.James Case has completed the road which was being built from near Hawkins Kearby’s to the Martin county line, and is moving his crusher east of French Lick, where hewill hnilrl flnnthpr
