Charles L. Mayfield, of Dallas, Ind., was'in the city on Monday on his way to visit his brother Daniel Mayfield, in Franklin township*John Roudenbusb, who has been engaged in the express business (or many years, is suffering from a stroke of pa ralysis, which has affected bis right side,and is confined to his home, 705 Shelby street. It is feared he will not recover. His wife died suddenly several weeks ago while preparing supper.Mr. N. B. Sraoot, of Piedmont, Va., is visiting relatives -here.Mrs. Alice Knight and Miss Edna Connor returned Saturday from a visit at the world’s fair at St. Louis.
