Bridal Showers, Fe,te Miss Juanita1 Boicken of CreteA green and white color scheme predominated jn the decorations at the pre-nuptial shower lor Miss Juanita Boicken given last week at the home of Mrs. Harold West in Crete. Forty-eight guests enjoyed » variety of games lor entertainment. Refreshments were served. •'Assisting' the hostesses were Mrs. Elsie Selk, Mrs. Evelyn WiU, Mrs. Ethel Johns, Mrs. Elizabeth Johns, Miss Rose Frecericksen and Miss Lila Ohiendotf.On Sunday evening Miss Boicken was the guest of honor at a shower at the home of Mrs. Walter Wassman fit Crete. Co-hostesse* were Mrs. Edwin Doescher and Mrs, Paul Wassman.Thirty-six- guests were present •from Eimhulst, Joliet, Crete, Chicago Heights r-nd Beecher. The bride opened her gifts a/ler bunco was played. Refreshments were served. .Miss Boicken. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Boicken, and Willard Wassman, 9on of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wassman. all of Crete, will be married on Sunday. August 24. at the Zion Lutheran church.
