Auk. 21, 1948Paul Coss copped the championship in the men's horseshoe tournament at the City ParK when he defeated Paul Jenkins in two straightgames. He will representCambridge in the state meet in Canton in September.A plane operated by the Lore City Flying Service “bombed’* Byesville, Derwent, Buffalo, Senecaville, Lore City, Barnesville, Hen-drysburg, Fairview, Middlebourne, Elizabethtown and Old Washington with leaflets to herald the approach of the Sesqui Caravan. The caravan, advertising the Sesqui, was accompanied by acalliope, auto equipped with loud speaker and Queen contestants. Frank Andrewsheads the caravan committee.
