An interesting program under the direction of Mrs. Marjorie Murrain, was given by members of the local organizations sponsoring the shower. Helen was the happy recipient of many beautiful and useful gifts brought or sent by her many friends and adrimers. If the prospective bride had been inclined to take seriosly all the advice, which she received by those who took part in the program, it would have been enough to dissuade any young lady from taking such a serious step as Miss Johnson soon after the admonition which was given to her during that program. One wonders whether those who so freely gave advice and council on that occasion were speaking as the voice of experience.
