Investiture, Profession Rites at Mt. AlverniaTwo young women were invested in the habit of the Sisters of St.Francis, nine novices pronounced their temporary vows and seven | Sisters took their perpetual vows at ceremonies conducted last weeklt;iiin the convent chapel at Mount I i Alvernia, Millvale, motherhouse of, t the order. Rev. Angelas Seikel,O.F.M.Cap., the convent chaplain, as delegate of the Most Reverend Bishop, officiated at the ceremonies.The investiture took place Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 12, the habit being conferred on Loretta C. Bumbernick, of St. Joseph’s Par-1Iii(ish, Johnstown, who took the name ' j Sister Mary Grace, and Marie M. !.Clair, of Sacred Heart Parish, iEmsworth, Sister Mary Christo-1pher. A sermon wfas delivered by , Rev. Edwin R. Hirt, of St. Wen-|, delin’s Parish, and Solemn Bene-i ( diction followed; with Rev. Michael | P. Boyle, pastor of St. Raphael's , Church, as celebrant, assisted by ( Rev. Justin Walz, O.F.M.Cap., and Rev. Francis C. StreifY.eThe profession ceremonies took place during a Mass celebrated Wednesday morning by Father Angelus. Those taking temporary vows were: Sister M. Theresine(Crenner). Sister M.
