EAST AFTON AND ELKMr. and Mrs. Frank Custer and family, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Custer and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Cusier and family all of Rankin, Iilinois, came Friday for a visit in the Ubbo Gerjets home. The three gentlemen are brothers of Mrs. Gerjets.Gussie Goettsch spent Friday in the LeRoy oettsch home.Victor Beatty left Sunday for his home in Sioux City after helping Biil Booth with the harvest and threshing.Mr. and Mrs. Webb Waddell and Shirley of Cherokee and Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Waddell of Aurelia, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Geary and Conley of Alta and Mr. and Mrs. V. J. Dyslin and Vera and Joyce of Larrabee spent Sunday afternoon in the John Dyslin home.A very happy gathering was held 1 at the Ubbo Gerjet3 home Sunday' when all of the children and their families came home to spend the day, each bringing well filled baskets.Those present were: Messrs. andMesdames Frank Custer and family, Charles Custer and family, Henry Custer and family of Rankin, Illinois; Enno Gerjets, LaMont Schumann and sons of Newell, Bill Burdett and family of Knoke, Galen Dyslin and family, Frank Gerjets and family, Herbert Grienke and family of Aurelia, and Charlie Gerjets and children.
