THE YENTERS RETURN FROMPERRYMr. and Mrs, George Yenter who highed out of Oxford at ■'daybreak last Thursday for Perry, Iowa, to visit their son, Fred, returned Monday afternoon,George says they had very good roads from Newton on, in fact he says the road is graveled or paved the remainder of the way,A few days before they arrived, Perry had been visited by a terrificwind storm which laid ruin to►many of the beautiful stately trees that overhung the wide thoroughfares of the busy little town.The electric lighting system was damaged and south of Perry many farm buildings were destroyed. Sunday, the Yenters drove about the devastated areas and witnessed some unusual sights,George says the Fred Yenter family are doing fine and send their best regards to home folks.
