IVORYTON*■■ t ^ ™r ■Ivoryton, Aug. 21—Miss Alma Johnson daughter iof Charles Johnson wastaken to the St. Francis hospital, Hartford, Thursday evening and was operated on for appendicitis yesterday morning. Last evening word from there stated that the. operation was successful and hopes for her speedy recovery was looked for.Mrs. Daniel B. Field and Miss Irene Blanuveit of Clinton are guests of Mrs. L. R. McDavid, Ivoryton Heights.
