The start was made from the fountain on North Market street by Murray Brlsh, who rode as far as Woman’s mill, where he was relieved by George Weiner. The latter started out at a rapid gait and after reaching the top of the bill, near the residenceof Mr. Esra Honck, gave up the chase in favor of Harry Brisk, who went on with the relay to Cereavllle. At the latter place Philip Nuabaam relieved Mr Brlsh and he went off toward Walkersvllle at about a three minute gait. The wheelmen were somewhat handicapped In thctr efforts to make quick time on account of the dusty conulliun of the road, and at the same time they had to keep a lookout for vehicles. The entire distance covered was Qve and seven eighths miles, and It waa made In the qulca time of fifteen minutes. Mr. Willard Marhey was stationed Just this side of Walkersvllle and caught the time as the la«t wheelman passed by. It Is thought that the distance can be made by the same wheelmen under more favorable circumstances in leas time.
