hWinker Fair Arena Brandon, Man.This postcard shows the Winter Fair Arena at 11th Street and Victoria Avenue. The building was constructed in 1912-1913. The contractor was Charles W. Hall, and the architect was Thomas Sinclair. The building, while built by the Winter Fair Board, was also known as the Wheat City Arena. The building was demolished in January of 1970. It was also used during the Second World War by the R.C.A.F. as No. 2 Manning Depot.POSTCARD FROM THE PASTr ^ ~
