Bruner, proprietor of the leading timber manufacturing plant at Cotton Plant, spent a greater part of the week looking over the timber in the vicinity of Harrison. Mr. Bruner has beenin correspondence with the Commerical Club with a view to removing his plant from Cotton Plant to Harrison is a satisfactory supply of timber is found to be available in this vicinity.He left for home Thursday expressing himself as satisfied with the showing of hardwoods within a reasonable distance of town, and it is understood the removal of his plant is only a matter of detail.the resort includes a tourist park and camp ground and children’s play ground. Several cottages have been completed for this season by the sales manager, F. B. Dodd of Lawrence, Kans., and additional housing facilities will be provided by tents.When completed there will be three lakes on Cheatum creek for boating. The slope between the drive and the lake front will be used for a golf course, tenniscourts,bathing beach andplaygrounds.
