INDIAN POW-WOW i NOW IN PROGRESS, Tama* la., (INSl — The thirty- ] fourth annual Mcsquakie pow-wow is under way this week end at the Tama Indian reservation.The public will get an opportunity to sec tribal tradition and lore.The Mesquakie have built a traditional village on the banks of the Iowa River which runs through the reservation. Ceremonial dances. Indian games and exhibitions of native relics, handicraft and produce from farms and gardens will be featured.. A health contest for babies under 18 months will be held today. Western championship contest for men dancers will climax the four-day pow-wow tomorrow.
