This is the firs* ; Mg gas well struck In this section f I the county.Clermont, which seems to be mostfortunately situated as regards to un* j derground wealth, having in years gone by been the center of McKean county's big coal region, is now preparing for a real boom as the result of this week’s big strike.The Hulled Natural Gas company has contracted for the production from the wells on the Anderson farm at 20c .per thousand. Over a million feet cf gas daily at that price will reward the owner most handsomely for his courage in testing the recesses under his farm soil.
