GIRL SAVES TWO BABES FROM FIREPortland; Me., Aug. 19.—Dashing upstairs where two infants were sleeping when a cottage at Peaks Island caught fire Monday, Gwendolyn Scolley, 12, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. N. H. Scolley of this city, carried the tots to safety, but was severely burned about the face and sprained anankle in the rescue., Her sister, Madeline, 10, rushedthrough the flames and leaped to the ground. One of her htjnds was[burned.
