Mrs. Ella L. SmithMrs. Ella Louise Smith, 59, of Rt. 1, Stephens City, died Friday in Shenandoah County Memorial Hospital.Mrs. Smith was born March 23,1921 at Wheatfield, a daughter of Mildred Renner Smith of Mountain Falls and the late James W. Smith. She was employed as a textile machine operator and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Stephens City Volunteer Fire Dept.Surviving in addition to her mother, are six children, Elsie Pence and James Steward, both of Middletown, Robert L. Stewart of Front Royal and Patricia Ann Dellinger, Garlend E. Stewart and Richard H. Robinson, all of Toms Brook; three sisters, Rachel Inman, Short Gap, W. Va., Myrtle Smith, Seneca, Md., and Wanda Whitacre of Mountain Falls; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.A funeral will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Stover Funeral Home in Strasburg by the Rev. Ralph Burner. Burial will be in Panorama Memorial Gardens atWaterlick.Friends will be received at the funeral home this evening from 7 to 8 o’clock.
