A large force of men'nre at work on the• # Ischooner Two Friends, which is being rebuilt at Milwaukee by Wolf Davidson. It will be remembered that the above-named croft was until recently ashore at North Bay, whore she was pulled oil by the tug Leviathan. The name of the craft will be changed when she is rebuiltThe old and neglected hull of the tug Reindeer, the finest and best tug on bay or lakes in her palmy days,--was pumped out by a steam-pump last Friday. An examination of the hullc showed it to be badly decayed aiul it was accordingly towed down the bay shore and set on fire for the purpose of getting the iron out of itThe tug Bob Mills broke some portion of her engine last Wednesday and became perfectly helpless. She was on the way to this port from Menominee with a scow loaded with slabs, and the accident happened near Hill’s Point, down the bay. The tug Kitty Smoke was summoned to her assistance and towed her to the canal, where the damage was repaired in a short time.A spanking breeze from the south induced several sail craft to take advantage of the ship canal last Thursday.
