BNID - Robert Shallenberg, Guthrie, has accepted a position in the school of fine arts of Phillips university to teach woodwind instruments and other music classes and to conduct the Enid-Phillips symphony orchestra. He will fill the vacancy left by Professor Walter Wehner who is on leave-of-absence for graduate work at the University of Kansas.Mr. Shallenberg graduated from Phillips university in 1953 with two degrees—bachelor of music and bachelor of music education. He also holds the master of music degree from the University of Illinois and is currently working toward his doctor of music degree there.
