After a night with “A Wise Member” an enthusiastic writer for the Cincinnati Enquirer says: ”A Wise Member” not only tells a story which koepB the averageauditor in constant anticipation, but is filled with crisp, snappy, bright and witty lines, the cleverest up* to dato topical songs and catchiest “Coon” melodies, ridiculously funny scenes und situations, vaudeville features that are absolutely new and startling, pretty girls, costumes that are gorgeous, yet in keeping and in good taste, scenery and stage accessories that appeal to the eye, terpsichoroan achievements that cannot be excelled, a fund of humor that holds ono in constant merriment from the rise to the fall of the curtain, and best of all, a cast of unusually olever people.
