Editor :—Having occasion to visit a part of Decatur county last week, I hope your readers will not consider themselves badly bored if you. should, see fit to place in print the few observations I may make.After leaving home and passing ithroughr Manchester, that magnificent ridge of land 60 beautifully interspersed with villages, workshops and neatly tilled farms, we find ourselves still in the old Lawrenceburg and Napoleon State road, once one of- the -great thoroughfares of this part of Indiana ; but now dwindled into a mere by-road.
