THERE WILL BE some good living days ahead for Mrs. Robert E. (Pauline) Adcock of Castro Valley.They will be spent in front of the beautiful organ her family gave her as a gift for her 75th birthday. The present came at a sui'prise party over the weekend, in the home of her grandson and his wife, the Russell Swarts, also Castro Valley*Mrs. Adcoek was bom in Oklahoma Indian Territory. She tells vivid accounts of having traveled in covered wagons and. of relaxing after. a day’s journey by playing an old pump organ which her family transported across the plains. The stories were inspiration for her family’s gift.Present for the party were some fifty guests, including her only child, Mrs. Alice Swart, with whom she makes her home, and her three grandchildren. In addition to Russell, they are Michael Swart, an' Oakland resident and an official in the ©tate Department of Consumer Affairs, and Mrs. Craig Mathers, also Oakland. In 'addition to their spouses, the guest list included some long-time associates of the Eastern Star Lodge to which Mrs. Adcock belongs.
