Osmond Bros.ToSing At Jones County FairThe Osmond Brothers, well-known quartet on the Andy Williams show, will appear at the Great Jones County Fair Saturday evening, Aug. 24,The Brothers—Alan, 13, Wayne, 11, Merrill, 9 and Jay, 7—are famous for their barbershop harmony. They first sang on the Williams TV show last winter andwere such a hit that they have been signed to a five year contract.The Osmonds, whose home is Ogden, Utah, have been singing together practically all their lives, first at family gatherings, then for religious, school and civic groups.On one of their trips to California,they visited Disneyland and met the Dapper Dans, who listened to them sing, then took them to audition for Tommy Walker. Walker, who was making preparations for the TV production, ^Disneyland After Dark**, asked the Osmond Brothers to sing a couple of songs for the show.The following summer (1965^, he asked them to sing at Disneyland at the Golden Horseshoe theatre and for the crowds on the street.Their appearance in the Disneyland TV production led to an invitation to audition for the Williams show.
