Pulaski Recreation ActivitiesMidget LeagueThree games were played in the Midget League Monday morning i-vith the Steelers who are tied for second place upsetting the league leading Rams to hand them their first loss of the season. Chuck Bralley pitching for the Claremont Rams held the Steelers to 8 hits for 11 runs while his teammates collected 10 hits for 10 runs off Junior Hagee of the Steelers. Jimmy Ward led the losers with 3 hits and 2 runs which included a triple and 2 singles followed by Gary Hancock with a double and a single. James Semones singled twice ?or the losers. The Wytheville Juniors collected 9 runs off 12 hits from Warren Alley. W. Qallahan of the Wytheville Juniors limited the Pulaski crew to 4 hits and 3 runs. Terry Patterson led the local crew with a double for the only extra base hit for thb Pulaski Juniors. The other hits were singles by Fred Turner, Ronnie Melton and Wade Fanning. Sutherland, Goff, T. W. Alley, Fulcher and Callahan each collected doubles for the Wythe-viUe crew as well as D. Hoback collecting 2 doubles.
