acres.Hardin county challenges any other county of Iowa to beat the following: David Adams who makes his home with his daughter, Mrs. Andrew Spur-lin, of Union township, though past ninety years old, is not content to sit idle. He helps with the house work, does considerable work in the garden and at the wood pile. While visiting another daughter, Mrs. Howard Lancaster, near Whitten, he even shocked oats several days during the recent harvest.
