Cadettes March Up Fifth Avenue In Legion ParadePHOENIX - - The °hoenixCadettes color guard were in New York City last Thu rede y and Friday for the state American I^irion convention and participated in the parade up Fifth Ave They placed eighth in the state competition and were the unit coming thegreatest distance to compete.Making tip the unit were captain, Sandy Borland; Donna House, Virginia Sorbello. Mel-vinne Gleason and JoanneWaldron, flags, and WendyHouse Susan Sotherden andVerna Bands, rifle*.They were *ponsored by theOswego County Council and hyHoming-Fournier Post IIS.They were accompanied byMrs, Seward Farnham, their director, and Mrs Glenn House The Cadettes also tok partSaturdav at the VFW field dayin Baldw insville
