Pow Wow of the Mesquakies to be At Tama Aug. 14-17The annual pow wow of the Mesquakie Indians will be held at Tama, Iowa from the 14th through the 17th of August.Highlights of the pow wow include the following.Parade—Saturday morning between 9:30 and 10:00 by Saddle Clubs from various places under the direction of Mr. C. Huff of State Center, Iowa, president ofthe Marshalltown-State Center-Toledo saddle clubs with the Tama Indians in full Pow-Wow regalia.It will be a very colorful affair and for the first time the Chamber of Commerce is helping to promote the pow-wow and call it a Frontiers Day, where they will be properly dressed for the occasion.One hundred and forty riders*r* «fpoo*«d «iid mny riders «rowelcome.
