YOUNG PEOPLE’S CHRISTIANUNION ELECTS OFFICERSAt a business meeting held last evening at the close of prayer meeting at the First Baptist church the following officers were elected by the young people’s societies of the Methodist, Baptist, Congregational and Christian churches as officers of the newly organized Young People’s Christian Union of Corona: ArthurTaber, president; Miss Eloise Jameson, vice president; Mrs. It. V. Hoelofs, secretary; and Harry Whitcomb, treasurer.Miss Grace Taber was elected chairman of the devotional committee and Dee McConnell chairman of the social committee.The union will hold its first meeting on Sunday evening August 31 at the Baptist church. These meetings will be held in every month that contains a fifth Sunday, much the same as the churches hold a union meeting in every month that contains five Sundays.I1J
