Friday, August 13, 1976, THE HERALD, Provo, Utah-Page 9Coffins, Payne, Frampton Double WinnersBill Collins, Steve Payne and Susan Frampton were double winners in the recently concluded Orem-Scera Tennis Tournament.Collins won the boys' 12 and under singles title by defeating Paul Frampton, then teamed with Kelly Sundberg to defeat Jimmy Payne and Philip Tucker for the doubles crown.Payne won the 18 and under singles title by beating Scott Hymas, then teamed with Gary Lew to beat Bruce Frampton and Mike Ellison for the doubles crown.Miss Frampton won the girls' 14 and under singles crown by beating Lecia Johnson, then paired with Susan Hamblin to defeat Jackie Clegg and Chris Braithwaite for the doubles title.Jimmy Payne defeated Philip Tucker to win the 10 and under singles, Doug Jensen defeated Vince Cramer for the 14 and under singles title. Bob Ellison won the 18 and under singles by besting Lynn Nimer and Jeff Johnson defeated Steve Baugh for the Men’s singles crown.Suzanne Ogden stoppedFawn Boren for the girls’ 12 and under singles crown, Sherrie Kaye Holdaway beatVickie Fullmer for the 18 and under title, Michelle Bandley beat Heather Wood for the 18 and under singles and Sue Ann Cochran beat Karen Fakler for the women's B singles crown.David Trane and VinceCramer defeated Kent Tolman and Mike Sehlappi for the 14 and under boys’ doubles title, DeVeryl and Rick Cutter won the fathers and sons title by stopping Bob and Brad Backman and Joel DeRoestand Matt Davies won the men’s doubles by defeating Pete Coombs and Jeff Johnson.Teresa Nielson and Kristina Peterson bested Fawn and Heather Boren to win the girls 12 and under doubles.
