Secures Judgement For Thirty CentsIn Esquires Page’s court last Saturday Mr. Ei D. Rymer. district agent for the Singer Sewing Machine Co., was awarded thirty cents damages against the Southern Ry., for forcing him to pay cash fare from this city to Tazewell. The % court held that the railroad com-! pany could not collect more them the regular ticket fare.The case was one of where Mr. Rymer did not have the time Iq purchase a ticket to Tazewell and boarded the train without one. The conductor, in carrying out the rules of the company, collected twenty five cents fare to Cumberland Gap. The Ticket fare is 10 cents. Mr~. Rymer paid it under protest.
