Pit ch. fork in Sis Cheek.Moses Brundage, son of Joseph Brundage, west of Nappanee, one day last week went near Argos, to visit Abe Stump, his uncle. Arriving there at night, the young man did not like to arouse the family, so he climbed into the haymow and went to sleep. The next morning his uncle went out to do the chores at an early hour. Before going into the haymow to get down some hay he threw the pitchfork into the mow and one prong penetrated his nephew’s cheek. This was the first intimation thac Mr. Stamp had of his visitor’s presence.
