CHARLES T.I PROMINENT MAN OF MEAGHER COUNTY SUCCUMBS AT THEHOME OF DAUGHTER.MME10 MONTM III 1871Is a Civil War Veteran—Came Weit First to Utah and Then to This State—Has Held Offices in Meagher County Many Years.After an illness of two years in which he had consulted many physicians in an attempt to regain hishealth, Charles T. Rader, pioneer of Montana, and one of the most prominent citizens of Meagher county, j died yesterday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. C. S. Bone-steele, at 708 Eighth avenue.He had recently returned from I Salt Lake where he had gone on | account of his health, and for two months had been confined to the sick bed at his daughter’s home. | His home has been at Fort Logan j in Meagher county, where he has i been prominent for years as a large , ranch and stock owner.His remains will be taken to White Sulphur Springs Thursday and the ! funeral will take place Friday.Had Lived Here 45 Years.Charles T. Rader was 71 years old. He was born at Jonesburg. Indiana, March 30, 1844, the scion of an old Virginia family. During the civil war he was enlisted under Company F of the 43rd Indiana volunteer infantry. He went to Salt Lake {in April, 1866, remaining there until 1870, when he came to Fort Logan, Montana. He was married to Josephine Johnson, March 14, 1869, the union being blessed with eight children, all of whom are living.In politics Mr. Rader was a staunch republican and held office in Meagher county several years ; as sheriff and assessor, and has always been prominent in affairs of the county.He was a member of the Masonic order, of the Elks, the Knights of | Pythias and the Grand Army of the Republic.Those Who Remain.He is survived by a wife and eight children, Mrs. Max Sarter of Fort Logan; Mrs. C. S. Bonesteele of Helena; Mrs. W. H. Seebohm of Grovant, Wyo.; Mrs. P. D. Scott of White Sulphur Springs; Mrs. H. F. Gillogly of Fort Logan; Charles R. Rader of Lennep and Lester and Wilbur Rader.Members of the Wadsworth post w'ill meet at the Flaherty undertaking parlors this morning and willaccompany the body to the depot. The body will be shipped east on the Northern Pacific, train No. 4. The following members of the Society of Montana Pioneers will attend the funeral:W'illiam Flannery, ( has. Hoepfner, George E.
