Mis. Phoebe Slater, one of the old settlers of this county, died at, her home on South street yesterday morning. Nobly shedid the work of the pioneer and now dying full of years she leaves none but friends behind. She will 1h* buiied in the Slater cemetery to-day. Her age was eighty-one years, live months and four days.
