RETURNS FROM SOUTH DAKOTA.Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Applegate andtwo children. Anna May and Forrest, arrived at Uorydon last Friday, having driven through in their car from Platte, South Dakota, about 1800 miles. Mr. and Mrs. Applegate havebeen in South Dakota three years where they have been farming. Shelby had a sale in April when he sold $25,000 worth of stock, in which he and his brother Holla had an interest, and they came out. fairly well. Holla went to New York State after the sale where he dins employment feeding stock. Mr. and Mrs. Applegate expect to remain in Harrison county but Mr. Applegate hasn't determined yet just what lie will do, but he is thinking of buying a farm. He says they like Harrison county too well to live in South Dakota. And their friends areglad to have them back. On their way, from South Dakota they camped out! in tourist camps along the way.
