It has long been felt among social circles in Fayetteville that aproper place was not afforded for social functions, that is, one that could be accessible for every or. cation that might arise. The need has also been felt of anfrorwillarecletsenor i fullpasi:organization that should havej Jrul for its object the cultivation ofthe social side of life. Mr. Unhurt) Jn)I I is one of the most energetic of . the young business men of the I city and under his direction the hipsuccess of the club is assured, ami5Hec reiiISly*n)-*eniyJOr.)-arisi -He has always come to tie front with his assistance in any enterprise that was calculated to forward the best interests of thiscommunity and in his present position he has an excellent opportunity to advance toe popularity of Fayetteville. Mr. Jack Walker was chosen vice president and Mr. Jerome Reynoldssecretary. The club will occupy *the magnificent quarters provid- 1jj ed fur them on the second floor of for 1 [the new opera house building. In addition to tiie large dance hall there will be a *aid room andonb-reading room and as a matter of course none but social games will be tolerated. All the,r-yimemoirs are requested to bepresent as tin* constitution andbylaws are to be adopted. The club will be ready to entertainabout September 1st.
