To In Fulton's 'GigiJean-Pierre Aumont, flown in directly from Paris, will star in “Gigi,11 the musical comedy hit of the 1973 Broadway season at the Canal Fulton Summer Arena opening August 6, and running through August 18.This topsy-tufVy Cinderella tale with a French twist is the Lerner and Loewe stage adaptation of their multi-Oscar winning movie of 1958. Derrived from one of the best known novels of the illustrious French author Colette, “Gigi” is the story of a young girl who has been trained from childhood to catch a man — but not matrimonially, as she is the daughter of a long line of “grand eoeottes” who are not the marrying kind.The joke is on them when to their horror, these good ladies who have taken such care to bring their charge up “right,” -find that she would rather be a rich man’s wife than his mistress.t*MR. AUMONT, famed international actor, will be portraying the role of Honre.
