Hartford Fair Queen CrownedThe fairest of the Hartford Fair is Dixie Hendren, named Junior Fair Queen of 1963.The 17-year-old blonde of Ri 1, Pataskala is the daughter of Mr.' and Mrs. Samuel J. Hendren. She is a senior at Licking Heights and was sponsored by Summit F. F. A.Runner up in Wednesday night's competition was Lana Johnson, Rt. 3, Johnstown. Other members of' the court were Sheila Evans, Carol Leslie and Christina Qarridge.Miss Hendren's clothing project for FIIA was judged best of show. Best. of show' in food went to Bonnie Clayton.Johnstown FHA booth won top award in judging followed by Nor-ifchridge and Utica.First three places in 4-H Club Judging went to Etna Gingham Girls, Granville Thrifty Fingers and Clever Colleens.Receiving honorable mention were .Anti Can't, Brownsville Lassies, Cake and Calico Kids , Cook and’ Sew Just So, Twinkling Fingers, Reform Honoretles, Welsh Hills Snip and Stitch, Utica Ver-satile-ettes, Jargomra, Nimble, Thimble, Young Homemakers, Tasting and Basting, Hanover Belles, Union Busy Fingers, and Hebron Sewettes.Winner of a three motohs free ■ubscription to The Advocate wasDonald Bruce of Rt. 1, St. Louis-'VHe.Tonight’s fair will feature the; Auto Thrill Show at 7 and 8, and steer sale at 6 p. m.,the parade of champions at 7:45 and hear Johnny and the Hurricanes at 8.
