L. Heidt UndergoesSerious OperationL. Heidt underwent a very serious operation tor rupture Saturday morning at three o’clock at the Mercy hospital In Port Dodge. He was taken ill Friday night and rushed to the hospital in the Hop-ley ambulance about two o'clock.Mr. Heidt came out ol the operation very well for a man of his years and the report Monday morning was to the effect that be had a good chance. He will be ninety years of age September 2.Mr- Heidt is a Civil war veteran and has been very active arouud his home right up uulii the time of his recent illness. His daughter, Mrs. Kidson, makes her home with I him on Sumner avenue.
