In Society IOne of the most enjoyable gatherings of the season was held at the home of Mr. and Mire. T. S. Oloott, of Bronson township, Tuesday, August 6.The occasion was the birthday of Mrs. T. S. Olcott. The guests began gathering in tihe early part of the day and by noon a jolly big crowd had arrived, Mrs, Olcott, although taken by surprise, was equal to the occasion and when *noon hour arived all were invited into the dining room where a table loaded with good things was spread. After dinner was over all joined in a good old time in the front yard, shaded by its great mple and elm trees, and amused themselves singing, reading essays and speaking. Mrs. Olcott is one of nine sisters. Seven of them were present, namely: Mrs. A. C. Miller, Mrs. S. H. Heston, Mrs. T. S. Olcott, of Hartland, Mrs. J. Townsend, of Bronson, Mrs. E. McMahan of Kingman, Kan Towne, of Breckenridge, Okla and Mrs. E. McMalhon of Enid, Okla. Others present were: Mrs. Eva Robbins, Miss Julia Townsend, Mrs. Jesse Robbins, Mrs. Chester Robbins, Miss Hattie Miller, Mrs. Charles Townsend and ^ A. C. Miller, of Huron county; Ira Towne and daughter Belle, of Breckinridge, Okla; E. McMahon, of Kingman, Kas.; Bert Reynolds, of Sterling, Kas.; Miss Lucile McMahon, of Enid, Okla. Toward the close of the ifternoon the party dispersed for heir several homes, feeling that the relative tie had been strengthened. Fhe family reunion of tihe Norick ’amily will be held at the Mansfield ;ark in Mansfield on August 22.
