The Mesquakie Indians in Tama county are planning to hold their annual pow-wow at their reservation near Tama, Aug. 7 to 9, where they will give the snake dance, the friendship; dance, corn dance, buffalo dance and. other annual aboriginal1 festivities. Curator Harlan, of the state historical department, will be on hand with a moving picture equipment to make a record of all of the stunts pulled off.
