MRS. ZACK JONES DIES FROM j HEART TROUBLE AT I SUGARLAND HOME.Tolbert A. Breeden Died at West Washington Home at 5:30Tuesday Morning.• , * ' , *. - . Monday's Daily.A sudden attack of the heart resulted fatally to Mrs. Eliza A. Jones wife of Zack Jones, formerly a merchant of this city, but who a few years ago retired to his faTm in theSugarland. Death occurred at the*home in the Sugarland.Mrs. Jones had been afflicted with heart trouble for the last six or seven years but appeared to be in her usual health Monday and Monday night. She ate her supper as usual and retired about 10 o'clock. Between 1 and 2 o'clock members of the family heard a noise in Mrs. Jones’ room. Upon investigating it was learned that she had fallen offMa cot on which she had been sleeping. Death followed in a few moments.The death of Mrs. Jones removed a widely known woman. Previous to her marriage to Mr. Jones she was Eliza A. Eads. She was born in Daviess county March 6, sixty-nine years ago and practically all of her life had been spent here. She became the wife of Mr. Jones in 1865 shortly after he returned from the civil war. Four children were born to them, three of whom are living. They are Alfred T. Jones, of Shreveport, La.; Mrs. Cora Perkins, of Barr township; and Daisy F. Jones, who lives at home. She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Frank Cross, of this city, and a brother, John Eads, of Elnora.Funeral services over the body of Mrs. Jones will be held at 10 o’clock Thursday morning and will be in charge of Rev. S. A. Hayworth. Burial will be made in Oak Grove cemetery.' .
