Popular Theater for Oak ParkOak Park is to have another theater, one of the 'popular five and ten-cenf moving picture and light vaudeville houses so much in vogue elsewhere, if the plans.now being made by C. L. Turley of 629 South Ridge -land avenue, are carried out. He has rented the store in the oJd Masonic building at 131 Lake street formerly occupied by Lowrey Linder, and is remodeling and fitting it up for this J purpose. There ore associated with him in the enterprise his son, Francis L, Turley, and R. E. Leffingwell and W. E. Turner, the latter being an expert with the moving picture machine. The new theater will seat about 200 people. The pictures wifi be thrown upon the screen by electric light so as to take away the danger from fire that so often accompanies shows of this kind.Mr. Turley promises the b.e^t film service that it is possible to obtain and the highest standard of excellence in the vaudeville attractions.- He declares that nothing not in accord with the high character of the., community will be tolerated and that the place will he closed Sundays. He has had experience in the management of such amusements before and is confident of success here. It will be known as the Oak Park theater.
